I liked the new star-wars ok, and The Mandalorian was good.

But I hate Marvel lately, every movie seems like just absolute chaos where it is hard to decipher what is going on. Its like they just mashed all the Marvel stories together into one big chaotic mess. I don't like the bits that are supposed to be 'humor' its just not funny.

Its not like those spiderman movies from the early 2000's that were actually good.


The first two were great, some of the best superhero films up to that point. The third not so much.

Trinity should be completely dead. She died in the physical world while not jacked in the Matrix. Neos mind may still exist in the Matrix, being uploaded before his physical death.

I have a problem with Neo's mind being preserved. The matrix is a wholly simulated virtual reality created by the Machines. It does not facilitate the downloading of human minds (outside if the body) into the matrix since that assumes conciousness exists outside of the body and the matrix never deals with
1. Separation of the mind from the body
2. Issue of consciousness

I think all of the metaphysical stuff in the trilogy was about this. If Smith could leave the Matrix and download into someone's brain, why can't Neo upload?

But that will return to the issue of how do you download consciousness. I know this is fiction, but the matrix may be the most important piece of art evert made. It relies on actual plausibility in order to create a metaphor about human existence. By extending the matrix universe into the metaphysical realm they will ruin the story.

Interesting take on Smith.

Incidentally the Warshowski Brothers originally scripted the Matrix as a networked computer made of human brains and not for energy generation. Generating energy that way would be very inefficient. But at that time the film makers didn't think most people would understand the Matrix as a networked computer.
