I think that's pretty cool actually. 8)

As a gamer one of my favorite Japanese video games is you Yakuza franchise. In addition to being a very fun game about Japan's criminal Underworld and seedy nightlife scene it actually is a very authentic experience of what the culture is really like in Japan. The fictional district of Kamurocho is modeled after a very real district in the city of Tokyo and many of the restaurants and stores are based off real businesses in Japan. And the gangsters who wear tattoos on their backs, each tattoo tells a story related to Japanese folklore and mythology which I find interesting.

If only you were a gamer and could handle violence I bet you would find it a interesting game franchise too. :)

I'm not sure but here is a wiki article about the fictional district of Kamurocho. :)

https://yakuza.fandom.com/wiki/Kamuroch ... of%20Japan.

Apparently its molded after a real place called the Kabukicho which is a red light district full of restaurants, bars, hostess clubs, and pachinko. It's also said to be connected to Japan's criminal Underworld in a way, kinda like Las Vegas which was built by the mafia as a pleasure district too.

I only really have two special interests right now which are my girlfriend & listening to music. My music tastes are LOTS of various rock, pop, country, & comedy stuff. I've had other special interests in the past & most of them I still enjoy some but they are not at the level of a special interest these days. Some included

~Watching TV
~Playing video-games like Super Nintendo & N64
~Spending time on web forums like this one
~Researching various medical stuff especially mental disorders & psych meds
~Porn
~I really liked Legos when I was a kid but haven't played with em since I was a teen
~Both my ex girlfriends were my special interests when we were together
~A celeb crush obsession when I was single that I still love but not at the level of special interest nowadays
~I have a knife/blade collection & some other stuff like crystal skulls & such but that has never been at the level of special interest

Horror fiction - usually short stories rather than novels.
Writing my own horror fiction.
Horror movies.
Fiction by Charles Bukowski.
Fiction by William Burroughs.
Historical TV dramas (Godfather Of Harlem, Domina, Rome, etc.)
Horror TV programs (American Horror Story, Chapelwaite, Dexter, etc.)
Drinking beer.
Probably plenty of other things I can't currently think of.

My biggest interest is possibly traditional sailing vessels.
Building, repairing, sailmaking, ropemaking, rigging, navigation, and history.
