Jabba a Star Wars Story

Star Trek Romulan War ( This would be a trilogy set in Archers era showing the Romulan War and founding of the Federation).

A Justice League film with Green Lantern and Martian Manhunter

A good or even half way decent Fantastic Four film bringing them back into the Marvel fold.

an anime feature based on Tayiou Matsumoto's "Number 5" Manga.

Vladimir Sorokin's "Blue Salo"

and of course, Jodorowsky's "Dune".

I've seen the Dune film staring Patrick Stewart. I don't know anything about the other two.

A film version of Rainbows End, by Vernor Vinge. Sadly one of his less popular works, but I strongly recommend. I think it would work better as a limited series for streaming but I could see it being done as a full-length theatrical.

Actually most Vinge novels are unfilmable but this one would be interesting to see translated to the screen.

Another thing I know nothing about.

Patrick Stewart Dune - better known as David Lynch's Dune, was the Studio's second(?) attempt to make the film, after Jodorowsky's Dune got cancelled.
The crew of Jodorowsky's Dune was picked up by Ridley Scott to create Alien - except, they replaced the art of Moebius with that of H.R.Giger - which made sense, of course.
But Jodorowsky's Dune was supposed to have Orson Wells as Baron Harkonnen, and Salvador Dali. Everything about it was 70s grandiose space opera, think Heavy Metal, but bigger.

Vladimir Sorokin is a russian postmodern sci fi author, and Blue Salo is my fabourite of his absurd sci fi tales. He has written some screenplays, and the films are fun and weird enough, but the scale and absurdity of Blue Salo is possibly unfilmable.

Taiyou Matsumoto is a Manga artist, who has written and drawn Ping-pong, which was made into a series, and Tekkonkinkreet, which is one of the greatest anime features ever, not the least because of the breathtaking art style, paired with some seriously impressive 3D, making it a very dynamic animation.

A movie based on the novel I Am Legend ;)

Movies based on the rest of the Ring series: Loop, "S", Tide...maybe a remake of Ring 0/Lemonheart that's a little more faithful?

Super Mario Bros. 2 =)

I know there's a lot of movies that got butchered that I'd love to see "director's cuts" of, like Ultraviolet.

I can only assume that the unrated Total Recall never got released because they lost the original footage. Robocop 2 would've been awesome too.

I don't know about the theatrical version, but Martian Manhunter was in the Snyder cut.

Ray Brown's "Reformed Sufi" series from Analog magazine, 1982-1983. A wonderful series of stories that start by raising a philosophical question about matter transporters and then a very plausible-sounding escalation to incredible possible implications.

Anything by James Hogan. I really enjoy his works.

I was kinda shocked there still hasn't been a Jack Gantos (who did Rotten Ralph), Joey Pigza film/television adaptation yet.

I think offhand, that's the only kinda iconic/memorable young adult book series, that hasn't been on the screen yet. So yeah.

Super excited to hear that Artemis and Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir have been greenlighted for production. I believe that Ryan Gosling has been lined up for the latter.

I meant director's cut/unrated Robocop 2. I don't know if the Shout! Factory release is out yet or not, but they said something vague about being unable to get any more footage.
