That's such a bizarre line to push.
300,000 people didn't just suddenly wake up this morning, and decide to convert to millitant nazism.

300,000 people DID just wake up this morning to find they have no work, and their families no rent or no mortgauge money because the premier threw a hissy fit last night and did "collective punishment".

And, think about that for a second.

According to the "Nazi protestors" narrative the premier is going to collectively punish the entire construction sector because a bunch of Nazis who have nothing to do with the construction sector, embarrassed him.

From the premiers actions it's blatantly obvious that the premier himself doesn't believe his own BS spin.

I actually smell something fishy too. I have to believe the vast majority protesting are union members? It might be useful to tarnish the union agitation by blaming a few rogue infiltrators.

So Australia doesn't have anything analogous to this?

Under the circumstances, I think it more appropriate in calling it "militant communism". 8)

Some believe the vast majority of violent protesters were left-wing oriented.
No doubt there were Nazi Neo-Nazis types agitating, also.

The PM of Victoria must be a wannabe dictator. But of course he has many role models to look up to, in many places of the world.

Well, he certainly seems to be doing all he can to demonstrate that he is "worthy" of the title of "Dictator Dan" that many refer to him as.

Off Topic
For reference, the head of each state is the "Premier" (PM being reserved for the Federal government). Victoria's Premier is Daniel Andrews, who heads a "Left-wing" government. His party is based on (and primarily supported by) the trade unions - The current protests are being conducted by one of the most left-wing (and militant) unions we have over here.

New information has been revealed recently, showing he has been "colluding" with Chinese run construction businesses.
I hope there are some ramifications for that.

It is interesting that the Federal government had to install legislation to ensure rogue Premiers, like Danny boy, from subverting federal decision making in regard to national security.

Bad Danny! 8)

Been watching the amalgamated livestream for a couple of hours now.
These people are not Nazis, nor extremists, they're regular working people, these guys are as peaceful as can be.

I'd say there are some extremists in there, perhaps the ones being violent. But overall, I'd guess plenty of tradies, as well as some anti-vaxxers. The relative proportions are a matter of speculation, short of actually surveying the protestors themselves. Time will tell if the protestors manage to actually change government policy.

Plenty of criticism towards the protestors taking over the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne yesterday.
https://www.9news.com.au/national/melbo ... 137285dea6

Also it's been reported that two vaccination centres in Melbourne have had to be shut down, after staff there were apparently abused and spat on by protestors.

Quote:
A Melbourne man who was flung head-first to the ground by a police officer who approached him from behind amid a high-intensity anti-protest operation was “calling for his mum” when he woke up from being unconscious, according to a “distressed” witness.

Shocking footage has emerged of an officer walking up behind the man standing in Flinders Street Station yesterday, before violently slamming him headfirst into the ground.

The video — which police say they are investigating — is being spread widely on social media and was filmed during widespread unrest in the city.

The victim appears to be standing in the station, calmly talking to several other police officers, when the officer approaches from behind.

The officer grabs the man by the shoulders and throws him to the ground in a swinging motion.

The man’s face can be seen bouncing off the ground as his headphones go flying.

“This poor guy was calm, he was just talking to the police,” the woman who posted the footage wrote in the caption.

“You can see it in the video then he gets thrown to the ground. You can hear his face hit the tiles. He was unconscious, blood and urine everywhere.”

The woman who posted the video, whose colleague recorded the footage, told news.com.au that the man was “unconscious for a while”.

“When he woke up he was calling for his mum,” she said.

The woman, who wanted to remain anonymous, said that the police officer who took the man down handcuffed him while he was unconscious, and that when he awoke he was treated by a medic.

Having watched the video of the incident (available (with warning) at linked article), I would be thinking it likely that the officer involved may be charged over this - The victim was standing talking to several police officers, in what looked a peaceful manner when another walked up from some distance behind him, grabbed the victim without warning and threw him onto the ground. At no point was there any indication from the officers being spoken to that there was any issue, and they didn't appear concerned about the victim prior to this.

Having said that, the fact that the person who recorded this was focussed on the victim suggests there must be some reason for this, so potentially there is something that occurred prior to the released section of the recording which would account for these actions, though even should this be true it still doesn't suggest the actions were reasonable.
