I know I am new here, but it has been so nice to be a part of the discussions and games and feel a sense of belonging. I have never really felt comfortable or safe to be myself- even online, because people know I'm different and they are just awful about it. It has made me feel really alone until I began to see so many people like me on here.

So just had to say thank you for creating this place and send some appreciation to all of the awesome people populating this weird planet :flower:

one of the best things about getting diagnosed at my late age was to know there are others "like me" and that I am not alone. There are others who understand! That was a huge relief! Welcome!

Hello Flown, Nice to meet you. :)

Yes, that has been so good for me too. I was diagnosed recently, and later in life as well. Always wondered what was going on with me, and well, now it is making sense. Very nice to meet you.

Hello Mountaingoat,

I like trains, yes. What I like most is seeing the trains travel through villages or scenes and how people make the villages with all of the little details. I like to find the details and watch the train go through the town. Bonus points if the train has steam!

I know what you mean. I come and go but WP has always been a very welcoming place for me and has supported me through the highs and lows over the years.

With little models of them, I like narrow gauge. I find it nice to make things in 7mm narrow gauge.

Thank you Kraftkortie and babybird. :)

Mountaingoat-

7mm gauge is a very good gauge, I agree. Much more intricate in my opinion.

It is the easy way to scratchbuild because I can use wheels and parts from 00 and H0 scales as they use the same gauge. It is the scale that is different as 7mm scale is larger, so the little people are twice the size as H0 people will be.
