Not in a good state. I started the week with a meltdown so extreme I was taken to hospital to stop me killing myself.

I am sorry. I want you to know I value you. I often smile at things you post which are thoughtful or funny or both.

Much appreciated. Struggling to feel like a person at the moment, and this helps!

I find you funny too. I'm not sure if you appreciate it when anyone compliments you.

I like you, Phosphorous. You're a witty guy.

Sorry you had to go through that meltdown. What triggered it (if you don't mind talking about it)?

I'm sorry to hear that you had to go through that whole ordeal. :( It's good that you didn't harm yourself, though.

Are you able to take any time to yourself to just relax and recoup?

Hey, phosphorus, how awful an experience to have such a terrible meltdown. I am so glad you got help and did not harm yourself. You are one of my favorite people, if you remember, because you have read Alfred Russel Wallace. The Malay Archipelago. Your interest in birds and butterflies is so, well, interesting. And music.

So many people here care about you.

Thank you for letting us know about it, and keep getting whatever helps you. Hugs and

I'm sorry you had that happen. It's no fun, to say the least. Bouncing back isn't always a quick thing, so here's hoping you can pace it and take care of you in this recovery period. And for what it's worth, I totally get not feeling like a person after these things. I try to remind myself that part of being a person is having low times...that it's all part of the human experience. Hope you get to feeling better soon.

.....aaaaand I'm now at extreme burnout instead. Not sure if it's the aftermath of the meltdown, or a result of the pressure I've been under the last couple of years. Signed off work; avoiding too much screen-time as I always seem to run into ranty idiots (some of whom are me). I'm barely managing to do the day-to-day stuff I usually do between my work shifts. Today I went to the library. Took me two hours to psych myself up to it, and had to crawl into bed for two hours afterwards.

hope for a more complete recover for you.. Often a meltdown or burnout situtation ,
it can affect me for a day or several days . Am almost no good,at setting limits but i try almost daily.
Have tried to cheat sometimes using energy type drinks but the meltdown recovery takes longer.
And can regret it , and that can create mini cascade situations like forgeting to drink water and eat.
Sometimes it all just feels like a daily fight somedays. Take Care Phosperous decree .
