Hi I am new here. I am very grateful for the people on this site and for the posts I have read here.
I would like to find some people in my area who are also have late diagnoses or are simply ASD adults trying to live in the world.
My state (TN) is way behind on Autism progress/awareness. But I know there must be someone out there who I can relate to.
I'm hoping to find people to chat with about jobs, fears, and existence.

Hi Dan, welcome to WP, I am not exactly a neighbor, but welcome from Michigan USA just the same. Joining forums like this one is a great way to get good information and insights from experienced people. One of the best things about my very late diagnosis 3 days before my 68th birthday (2 years ago!) was that I learned I was not alone. Other autistic people are ready to help, can relate to many of my struggles and strengths and have a great sense of humor, are usually kind and I am so very glad to find I am not alone! Glad you are with us!

Hello! Well if you think in the first world you get bad autism awareness, wait until you try THE THIRD WORLD!! ! *dramatic orchestra*

But yeah i just want to not wear a mask no more, and be loved even then.
