Watching the Mandalorian I realized that there could be potential for a character from the clone wars to return. That being the Jen Dai bounty hunter Durge. Sure if I recall, he was blasted off to the sun but with all of his species, they can regenerate. The idea is if they make a new season, they could add Durge as the main antagonist. due to his hatred of the Mandalorian society. and the idea of a character trying to hunt down and track our main protagonist seems super cool. what do you guys think?

I've got zero remaining enthusiasm for this franchise. Movies have become like fast food, nothing but bland franchises with nothing appealing to offer.

Have you ever heard of "Gentrification"?

"... the process of changing the character of a neighborhood into a more carefully-controlled, predictable, and safe environment."

A similar process occurs due to "Disneyfication".

"... the process of changing the character of original creative content into carefully-controlled, predictable, and safe entertainment."

Ever since Star Wars and Marvel were "Disneyficated", their content has become bland and banal (imho).

IMO, Disney is now a greedy cash-cow that will do anything to score another big win.

First Marvel, then Star Wars, then a merger with 20th Century Fox.

It makes we wonder what the man Walt Disney would think of his company now.

Personally, they became boring long before Disney was involved.

Walt Disney was quite the capitalist - with as mich childlike pleasure about his company's creations as with its profits.
He was obsessed for a while with expanding animation into something more adult - which is how Fantasia got made- but when that flopped at the box office, he scrapped the idea so thoroughly, animation as an art form never recovered.
He would likely appreciate being the founder of the world's largest media conglomerate.

Never watched it. And practically never cared.
Only except that I care enough to say I never watched it.

Aint that the truth!

They are all comic book superhero, or reboots, or reboots of comic book superhereos.

Disney is now trying to mine the "Expanded Universe" era of Star Wars that they themselves retconned for interesting ideas/characters to use in their own production. Will the rape of this franchise never end?

I have serious doubts that Star Wars and Marvel will ever be innovative (or entertaining) again.
