I dont know why...but recently. I get really really nervous and sweaty in stores... (not little corner stores, but bigger ones like grocery stores, the mall, or WalMart).

I dont know... I feel like... I'm trapped in. :? :?

I used tohave the same problem, i was nervous and i didn't like going to places with crowds. But now i'm over most of my crowd problems.

By the way, everytime I'm in Wal-Mart I have a sh*tting problem, every time I'm in that store I have to rush to the restroom. Hahaha, it's f*cked up, I know.

Could it be agoraphobia? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agoraphobia
I used to feel the exact same way when I was younger, and that was the diagnosis that I was given.

I just dislike the crowds and prefer to shop at Walmart when it is not crowded. I am always bumping to people or their carts etc when it is crowded.

I had agoraphobia for a whole summer once, but I don't have problems with stores . finding the right thing can be a problem because of the brand or if the quality is good. going grocery shopping can be easy as cake or confusing because get distracted by something else and forget what i was supposed to bring.

I have the same problem. I don't think it's agoraphobia, cos I love going out places. I think it's sensory overload in those big, crowded chain stores. I hate it.

I am a cheapskate so I like Walmarts for that, but I always go during slow times because I don't like having lots of people around.

I don't know if its agoraphobia, because it's only in stores.

Something else that pisses me off, is when they play these screechy girls 'singing' crap on the overhead.

Interesting that Agoraphobia literally means "fear of the market place".

I avoid the market place not so much out of fear but because of sensory issues.
