How near or far do you live from others? Are there any autism groups near you who can help? What sort of age group are you? Are there hobbies which you can use to share interests with others?

Keep busy. Work, school, hobbies. Try new activities.

"Chop wood and carry water"

When my precious lil "friends" had the nerve to tell me off and dump my worthless corpse, I overreacted. But "life" goes on and on and on with or without them. When I kept obsessing about their bad or wrong statements and actions, I was still thinking about them.

The solar system contains eight billion people

There are plenty of things to do

Find out what you are doing to drive people away and stop doing it.

keep a eye out for online support pages ..... might look online for meet ups. type groups and
see what is available especially if you have a special interest that might apply . Even being here has its benefits .

I recommend learning to be your own friend , looking at yourself in the mirror and saying "I am going to be your friend. What do you want to do today. In the mean time, start building yourself up by talking to yourself in the mirror and give yourself hugs. You can also ask your friend, "What do you want to do today?" Then let that person answer back. Whether it be going to a movie, cooking a meal, etc.

Not driving people away is easy. Getting people to want to stay in your life is much, much harder.

Yeah ... first steps first, though ...

Well you've obviously done it for 5-7 years so you must've figured it out

Individuals don't need friends for their own survival.
