Quote:
embers of Donald Trump's mailing list have been asked to contribute $45 each to "solve the election fraud of 2020," despite no evidence of mass voter fraud.

Team Trump's pleas for funds on Sunday evening came only days after the former president insisted Republicans "will not be voting" in the 2022 midterm and 2024 general elections until the supposed voter fraud is "solved."

Trump has repeatedly pushed the narrative that voter fraud was behind his electoral defeat to Democrat Joe Biden in November 2020, despite no evidence to support the claim.

It seems he's found a very fertile group of people to grift. Who'd have guessed that conspiracy nuts might be easy to mislead and take advantage of?

Heartbreaking! :(

How can you turn your back on a sad billionaire who doesnt even know where his next private jet is coming from?

Especially when he is a ...fake billionaire... who is in need of ...a fake uncovering a nonexistant scandal?

So...lets give him... fake money!

I think homeless beggars should get together and sue him for trying to “steal” their gig. They could even claim damages from income loss to this turd. They can likely find a lawyer who will work pro bono just to be in the news.

Democrats are doing a happy dance.

If enough Republicans do not vote the Democrats keep control of Congress. If this occurs that would be two election cycles Trump’s mouth cost the Republicans control of congress. Not that he gives a s**t. What he should give a s**t about is if the Democrats keep control of Congress Republicans will not have the votes to block certification of the 2024 election.

If Democrats are doing a happy dance they're deluding themselves. If they don't deliver on their agenda they're unlikely to have much in the way of an enthusiastic turnout next time around. The Dems are the Washington Generals and progressives naively pretend like eventually they'll be an effective party to fight for progressive interests even though they'll never actually deliver.

All politicians are guilty of milking it. That includes your favorite one.

Sounds like a good reason to not have a favourite one. :chin:

It does seem at times like a competition to see who can try hardest to lose.
I think it is delusional to think with such a teensy-weensy majority and the opposition united in the cause of obstruction, you can pass more then the bare minimum.

The problem isn't even just the Republican'ts, there's also Manchin and Sinema.

Progressives keep supporting a party that isn't because they've decided the centre-right party is less terrible than the far-right party, the only problem is both of those parties oppose their values and ideals.

This is the thing that many overlook, yes.
Part of the perks of politicians on both sides is to milk the system.
It is their "right", so they seem to believe. 8)
