What if you were forced to sleep on a bed of nails?

This is literally what happened to me... and then they are offended when I insult them, I swear. So, apparently, being pricked by possibly rusted nails every so often when I temporarily forget they're that is totally fine... but words?! Noooo! (And this is why I'll never stop insulting them, to say the least...)

I don't think I'd get much sleep - that is not what beds of nails are for.

Op says literally but I took it as metaphorically.

My hope is that the OP will discover that their imaginings have been worse than reality.

Once I volunteered to lie on it.
And it's more of a demonstration of physics than a punishment or a threat.

Sure, I may lie a bit longer willfully.
But I doubt I'd actually able to sleep on it without hurting.



As for actual home beds with protruding nails..
I'd either grab a hammer or some pliers to rid of it.
Or rid of the bed altogether and sleep on the floor with the mattress or sheet if I had to.
