Hi everyone, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm from Seattle, finally received my diagnoses of ASD 1 and inattentive-type ADHD about six months ago. Still learning what all this means. I tried the chat on Hiki first, but didn't care for the structure. Hoping to find a safe place where I'm not always the odd one out.

Welcome to WP! I hope you like it here.

I was diagnosed Autism Spectrum Disorder, Level 1 (Mild) in 2019, when I was 64. My bride was diagnosed ADHD in 1960, when she was about six...so between the two of us we've got those two diagnoses.

welcome, late diagnosed and that has helped a lot with self understanding and understanding the past. Moving forward is easier because now I can self accommodate, knowing my worst struggles. Sending best wishes, you are not alone

PS Chris Chalcedony, I am fascinated by your screen name, I am an amateur geologist, and a rock hound. Do you have similar interests?

Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm still new to exploring what all this means, but diagnosis has so far helped me understand a lot about myself as well. Yes, I love rocks and geology, just amateur of course. I don't personally believe in the new age healing-power stuff about them but I find it interesting that many people do.
