Ever wanted to live in China or Vietnam to not get infected?

I never thought it would actually be saner to do so until this pandemic... heck, even damn NK is acting saner just with regards to that. Tells you a lot when apparently the result of democracies is... "let's infect alll!!!111"

I've seriously felt nothing except like I'm living in a big, national mental hospital since it started. I mean, at least a century ago they didn't have germ theory... today they're like, "we need to all die together!"

Oh, and the world service had this feature which ended with "but how much longer can people bear?"

And I'm trying to imagine what situation that would be... "I can't bear to not die anymore!"
