Some abuse is so harsh and unsensical that people find it hard to believe it. For people who've been through it, had friends that have been through it and read so much about it it's not hard to understand.

What happens if the cops find out your dad aggresses you again? Is there a restraint order yet in place?

Well I am back home now but I can no longer drink caffeine free root beer at night and I also cant watch tv late at night because if I argue with him about it or any other thing I could get a felony for verbal abuse.Thanks very much.My dad said if I am gone if I call the cops again.So I am only calling the cops if one of my parents makes me bleed again.

I’ll have to look that up.

Examples of when emotional abuse is a felony:

1. Falsely telling an elderly person that someone died.

2. Denying an elderly person the right to visit someone.

3. Threatening an elderly person with harm.

Have you done any of those things to an elderly person? Not agreeing with an elderly person does not constitute emotional abuse.

I'm not a lawyer but your dad tells you utter legal s**t. A 31 year old disagreeing with their dad about coffee isn't a criminal offence. Assuming in some one some weird planet or universe something so petty is a criminal offence you might as well get your accusations in first.

Generally your dad beating you, kissing you, "playing" with guns in your direction, preventing you from leaving home and being an emotionally abusive control freak is multiple felonies and a nice hefty civil case.

I would just end it all once and for all. Just constantly record everything and build up a big enough case to send him to prison. Him being locked in a building with hundreds of violent felons seems like an environment he'll more naturally settle into anyway.
