Is mental health a risk factor for Covid ?
I seem to think that everything is a risk. I remember telling a friend of mine who has asperger's or autism about my concerns over people with disabilities being susceptible to dying from the virus and was told it is only certain types such as Down's syndrome where some have compromised immune systems and birth defects etc. And even said that if she was very vulnerable then she and every one of us on the autism spectrum would have to isolate ourselves from the rest of society for our own protection. And she and not many others are. I am now even thinking that all the anxiety, stress and so on caused by the pandemic some how makes us more vulnerable to serious illness as well.
