I hope so. To be honest I'm not particularly optimistic it will make much difference but I will certainly give it a go.

Mainly the daytime as I'm currently out of work. If I start early like I did last bank holiday monday I tend to end up drinking more so I'm trying to restrict it to the evenings.

Haven't had a drink today so far.. 15 cans of Guinness in the cupboard..

Am starting on Xagittin XL (Ritalin slow release) this week so hopefully I will be less reliant on the booze to help my concentration. :)

On 42 units already this week and it's only monday. :(

Just been searching for Xagittin XL in several pharmacies. Have finally taken my first tablet about an hour ago. No effects yet. Had 7 cans of Guinness last night so now on 54.6 units for the week. Not great given it's only tuesday. Hopefully will now be able to cut down and feel less frustrated with my life.

Do you have a prescription for the Xagattin? I'm wondering about asking my doc for one

Just asking because I'm fairly sure I have ADHD, but seeing as I'm already on anti-depressants and sleeping pills I'm not sure if adding more meds to the stew would be a good idea. I'm also a compulsive daily drinker - do you find Xagattin helps with that?

So far the Xagittin isn't helping cut the drinking although I do feel better and more alert. Yes, I have a prescription. I am also on anti depressants (Fluoxetine) and anti-psychotic (Olanzapine) plus several vitamin tablets so there's no reason why you can't be on several meds at once.

Had a bad session yesterday. Walked to the supermarket at 7am to try and get some exercise and ended up buying 4 bottles of Black Sheep ale. Then got 3 cans of Caffery's, had 2 pints of Guinness in the pub across the road and finished off on 4 cans of Guinness. After all that felt a bit rough but not drunk.

Off my ADHD medication now due to high blood pressure so the mental fog and frustration with life is back. feel like I'm going round in circles and getting nowhere.

Meanwhile my annoying druggie neighbours are stressing the hell out of me. :(

I'm looking at flats but I don't really feel well enough to move tbh I look pretty bad so that would probably make problems with my new neighbours.
