I have severe anxiety.

I have diagnoses of dyspraxia, ADHD and Aspergers traits.

I know anxiety makes ADHD and dyspraxia worse. I think I come across worse if I am anxiety .


Can anxiety make autistic symptoms worse ?

Yep. It sure can.

I think Aspies have a legitimate reason to be more anxious than NTs in the first place, as we are often subject to some strange and even wild social treatment that the average "anxious" NT will never experience.

Plus, oftentimes, actions and behaviors that work FOR an NT will work AGAINST an Aspie when we behave the same way.

Yes, just like any and amongst many others.

Anxiety is just one of the most common ones.

I think that due to the lack of neural pruning we may be more apt to heightened anxiety reaction's , more synapses being triggered

I have my fair share of anxiety. I don't know if it's due to my autism or my gender dysphoria.

My sister and I both have Generalized Anxiety Disorder much to the denial of our mom.

However, just to be clear, my sister is NT and not on the spectrum.
