Uh, the info you posted did not say the coolest November for a century but the wettest.
p.s. Are you still poking fun at my mate Tim Flannery here?

Erm.
Read the post entirely, especially this part that was highlighted:
"

Don't be embarrassed.
I may be close, but I am not infallible either. 8)

And, yes, I will take *every* opportunity to mock Timmy.
Tim has earned that "privilege".

This is no proof that climate change is not occurring.

Who said it was?
Climate change has always happened, and will always happen.

But remember when the catastrophists were calling it "Global warming"?

Accelerated, man-made climate change is occurring. Above and beyond what would be considered "natural" climate change.

Sometimes, it manifests itself as colder than normal weather.

According to the catastrophists, we should have been dead 10 years ago.
The last time I checked, I was still alive. 8O

Did I EVER talk about "global catastrophe?"

I never said that "we will all die," or that "we are doomed," or whatever.

But we should do something to offset Climate Change.

Whether these floods, fires, hurricanes, earthquakes, etc., are caused by Climate Change, or by natural agents, we have to deal with them. We have to find ways to answer to these potentially catastrophic events. Whatever their ultimate cause.

Where did someone say everyone would be dead 10 years ago due to either Global Warming or Climate Change? Some people are already dead due to it but...in the grand scheme of things...the catastrophes have been localized events. I thought the predictions were basically saying things would get much worse within 50-100 years...and even though there would likely be a lot of deaths there should still be an abundance of survivors...and quite a few of the survivors would be cursing folk of our era for letting things get so bad.

People dying from natural catastrophes are minuscule, compared to 100 years ago.
"We" ARE doing something about it. 8O

You don't research much, huh?

The perverse fantasies of Extinction Rebellion's founder
Brendan O'Neill

If we don’t cut carbon emissions, your mother will be raped. This is the deranged prediction of Roger Hallam, the weird-beard co-founder of Extinction Rebellion. Eco-doomsters used to say the ice caps would melt and polar bears would perish unless we all went green. Now they’re upping the ante. Now they’re prophesising gang rape, murder and war if you don’t shrink your eco-footprint. Better get recycling.

Hallam’s nutty foretelling of an epidemic of rape appears in a piece of writing titled ‘Advice to Young People, as you Face Annihilation’. He’s a cheery soul, isn’t he? Apparently he wrote it when he was in jail for four weeks last year on suspicion of conspiracy to commit criminal damage. The whole thing is nuts. The world is a ‘gas chamber’ and ‘the gas which will kill you has been sent down the pipes in vast quantities for 30 years now’, says Hallam. Which is pretty bloody offensive. If climate-change alarmists could go just a few days without appropriating the horrors of the Holocaust to their moany middle-class cause, we’d be most grateful.

Hey Buddy....I don't talk that way to you!

I talk with respect with you at all times.

And yeah....I DO do my research!

That's the trouble with this here Internet....people like to put down people, and talk condescendingly to them. This sort of interaction is trickling down to "real life" interactions.

BTW, What's the deal with spelling KraftieKortie with 2 "K"s?

I ALWAYS talk to you with respect.

No, friend....nothing to do with KKK or whatever.

It's the word "crafty" with a K, plus the first letter of my last name. When I was 9 years old, another kid thought I was being bothered too much, so he made up a name for me: Krafty Kortie in order to boost my confidence. It's a tribute to that kid who went to bat for me.

I should have called myself Wolfman, instead!

You have a funny way of showing it. :?

You have been annoying me, lately, with your attitude.
Seemingly, you were unaware of that. 8)
