Generally thats the way it works for me but you have to be careful you dont surround yourself with friends who will not work out for you in a good way or leads to you pick up some bad habits.

My partner primarily. Sometimes my close online friends, very rarely my family members.

I agonise over decisions, battling between Mr Reason and Madame Feeling, but in the end I make snap decisions.

Mr Reason almost always wins.

His other names include Hyper-vigilance, Caution, and Anxiety -- and he's quite an overachiever.

When I need to confide in someone for sound advice, I trust three derelicts I met on WP, or my brother.

I have no close online friends here as of yet. I'm not the greatest at making friends. :/

I've made a small few from my special interest communities over the last two decades though.

My partner and I perform this function for each other. Sometimes you can see things more clearly for someone else and vice versa. I think in general I make decent decisions but she keeps me straight if I'm going off course.

I have this website that lets you spin a wheel to decide things so I use the wheel for most if not all my decisions.
