I'm slow with tech. Only got a smartphone last year. I've noticed these past couple of months that the apps have "updated." Same on my Amazon fire tablet. I've also noticed it on Google maps and other websites. Mainly that "buttons" have become more rounded or bubble-like with a specific font style. Is there a name for this new "decor"? Is it some sort of neo-Art Deco, 100 years after the original...and digitized?
Anyone else notice this or know what I'm referring to? Is there a name for it, and when/why did all these different software conglomerates agree to this new style?
