This is worrying because it is along similar lines where potentially this new drug could kill more patients then it saves (They don't know) and it has been approved by the FDA with ONLY a 30% success rate?

If I put a part on my car or bicycle that only had a 30% chance that it would function correctly and had no guarantees that it would be safe to use, I would be nuts as what if it was a brake part or a component of the steering? And yet, this is FAR MORE SERIOUS as this is ones OWN BODY and LIFE we are talking about here.
A more appropriate analogy would be that you can ride your bike without a helmet and take the risks, or wear a helmet and have a 30% less chance of breaking your skull open.
