Two on my list. One is Santa Claus the Movie. The first two thirds are a Santa origin story and the last one third concerns a modern Scrooge like Christmas villian played by John Lithgow. It was visually excellent and good story wise.

The second was a made for TV movie called The Night They Saved Christmas, where Santa's workshop is in danger of being blown up by an oil company blasting in the North Pole. It is little known because it was never released on DVD, only VHS back in the 80s.

Terry Pratchett's Hogfather (2006).

Synopsis: The Hogfather, the Discworld equivalent of Father Christmas, goes missing and Death is forced to take his place while Death's granddaughter Susan attempts to find out what happened.

The Great Escape.

Now everyone is scratching their heads but for many years this film was a Christmas Day afternoon staple despite it not being at all Christmassy.

Add Die Hard then lol.

Babes in Toyland. This had a star cast including Drew Berrymore, Pat Morita as a Japanese Santa, and Keeonu Reeves.

IMO films that take place during Christmas but are not about Christmas don't count as Christmas films, like Home Alone and Gremlins.

Fatman.

Mel Gibson plays a kickass Santa who has a price on his head. Very black comedy.
