Why is former wrestler turned actor the rock so popular with the ladies? I mean the guy is covered in tatooes and looks like he is on a ridiculous amount of steroids.

Do you agree with me on this or not?

I disagree. Then again, I don’t find muscular body types attractive on anyone.

I met him once, and he is not a jerk.  He is nice to people.

His wife Lisa also seems nice; but I did not get to meet her.

Some women rave over him; others really don't give a damn about him.

I know many women who don't care for the "muscular, steroid" sort of look.

It seems like he is fortunate in having a decent personality, in addition to his other "attributes."

And, James, don't be an idiot by taking steroids.

I don't know who you're talking about, but he doesn't sound appealing to me.

I don't like that type.

He's handsome, seems pretty charming, and makes some entertaining movies. Seems self-explanatory to me.

You left out wealthy, popular, and employed.

Complaints about attractive people always remind me of the
Stepsisters' Lament  from the Rogers & Hammerstein production of Cinderella, wherein Cinderella's stepsisters lament over the prince's choice of Cinderella over them.  Throughout the song, the sisters describe the beauty of Cinderella in disbelief, trying to convince themselves they are not just as attractive as she is, but more so.

They are jealous, pure and simple!

He's not my cup of tea, but he comes over as polite and friendly and down-to-earth, unlike other famous people like Mark Wahlberg who have a serious attitude problem which scrubs out any good looks they have in my opinion.

He's famous. He's charismatic. He has high testosterone levels, and he's wealthy. I'm sure there are more reasons you can think of.

But I agree, he's been using steroids for over 20 years now. Aesthetics judgments aside. That can't be healthy.

Him and Vin Diesel are popular among a lot of women.
Reason: They’re alphas.

I have to lookup his name to know who he is. None of the women I knew in life ever mentioned his name, he is on no one’s radar, unlike Vin Diesel and the Rock.

Oh, so Marky Mark didn't reach Lebanon back on the day. I probably could have chosen a more recent example. But Mark Wahlberg is still famous. People often mix him up with Matt Damon. Marky Mark was the most fit Vs jerky actor I could think of.

^ I remember him in the transformers movies, so was he ever a sex symbol? I never recall him as such, when was that?

Back in the 80s Tom Selleck was a sex symbol for instance, actors like Vandam and Chuck Norris were action symbols, admired by boys, but not much fancied by women.

Google Mark Wahlberg Calvin Klein ad and guess.

Whichever "ladies" he might be popular with do not include me. I'm so uninterested in entertainment celebrities that I don't even know who you're talking about.
