Kind cheesy acting in the first clip, but:

When poor Deirdre Rashid got set up by some lawless folk and sent to prison:

"At least I've never been in prison," Deirdre's Mum (Blanche) - says, knowing full well Deirdre got sent there wrongly and then was released. Savage. :skull:

Tracey Barlow terrorising Coronation Street. Always the victim in her mind, yet she never was the victim. A victim of her own mind & making, perhaps:

I remember watching this back in the day, at the very early stages of when transgenderism was being recognised in mainstream, British society.

"I wouldn't eat here for a gold clock."

^ I vaguely remember the first Tracy & Roy scene, but the second one obviously came after I stopped watching The Street around 2010-2012 or so.

Here's the death of Brendan Scott - he opened some sort of retro 1920s-style grocer's shop, but collapsed and died on his first day.....

Coronation Street is always full of entertainment. I do enjoy it when I don't have other pressing life matters to attend to.

Yeah, I watched the show pretty regularly from about 1970-2010, so have lots of memories....

Tommy McArdle was easily the best villain on Brookside. Forget Sizzler and Joey Godden. Very few clips featuring him on YouTube, this one will have to do....

I think this character was from before when I first watched Brookside.

What is sad about this is that a gaslighter would try and paint Sinbad (character name) in this soap opera - as the bad guy. But he was actually super, super nice by most people's collective opinion.

People getting pushed beyond their limits become angry. And that's okay.

Classic Tommy McArdle, from 15:50 and 19:57
