definitive gen 3 pokemon game

I'm playing Pokemon let's go Pikachu then the next Pokemon game are I'll play is Pokemon HeartGold or SoulSilver but I don't know if I should play Pokemon Emerald or Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire what version of gen 3 do you think it's due to definitive version the remakes or the third game?
