Breathes new life into old classics. A little too deep though. A few Semitones higher would be better.

Needs more high end EQ also. Hi hats are too muddy.

EDIT: this one's better.

I’ll save anyone who doesn’t want to listen to an eleven-minute song the trouble (even if I don’t understand how anyone can not want to listen to this for eleven minutes  )

I have come curiously close to the end
Down beneath my self-indulgent, pitiful hole
Defeated, I concede and move closer
I may find comfort here
I may find peace within the emptiness
How pitiful
It’s calling me (x4)
And in my darkest moment, fetal and weeping
The moon tells me a secret, my confidant
As full and bright as I am
This light is not my own, and
A million light reflections pass over me
Its source is bright and endless
She resuscitates the hopeless
Without her, we are lifeless sattelites drifting
And as I pull my head out, I am without one doubt
Don’t want to be down here soothing my narcissism
I must crucify the ego before it’s far too late
I pray the light lifts me out
Before I pine away (x4)
So crucify the ego before it’s far too late
To leave behind this place so negative and blind and cynical
And you will come to find that we are all one mind
Capable of all that’s imagined and all conceivable
Just let the light touch you and let the words spill through
Bringing out our hope and reason
Before we pine away (x4)

I asked someone out on a date, now I have to wait for a response. Honestly I'm not feeling too hopeful, but it's not the end of the world if she turns me down. I think this song is the closest to how I'm feeling right now:

Beatles. This melody pops in my head.

Is there anybody going to listen to my story
All about the girl who came to stay?
She's the kind of girl you want so much it makes you sorry
Still, you don't regret a single day
When I think of all the times I tried so hard to leave her
She will turn to me and start to cry
And she promises the earth to me and I believe her
After all this time I don't know why
She's the kind of girl who puts you down
When friends are there,You feel a fool
When you say she's looking good
She acts as if it's understood.
Was she told when she was young that pain would lead to pleasure?
Did she understand it when they said
That a man must break his back to earn his day of leisure?
Will she still believe it when he's dead?

Why, it's like a poem.

For some reason my mind thinks --"She's the kind of girl you want so much it makes you horny" I coulda swore it was that...lol

This is probably my favorite Nirvana song. It's dark cynical satirical yet energetically driving. The riff is a part of me. I heard it in my mind so many times. It perfectly syncs with my mood right now.

[Verse 1]
Use just once and destroy
Invasion of our piracy
Afterbirth of a nation
Starve without your skeleton key
I love you for what I am not
I do not want what I have got
A blanket acne'ed with cigarette burns
Speak at once while taking turns

[Chorus]
What is what I need?
What is wrong with me?
What is what I need?

[Verse 2]
Nothing to do with what you think
If you ever think at all
Bi-polar opposites attract
All of a sudden my water broke
I love you for what I am not
I do not want what I have got
A blanket acne'ed with cigarette burns
Second-rate third degree burns
[Chorus]
What is what I need?
What is wrong with me?
What do I think I think?

[Bridge]
Hate your enemies
Save, save your friends
Find, find your place
Speak, speak the truth

[Chorus]
What is what I need?
What is wrong with me?
What is what I need?
What do I think I think?

[Guitar Solo]

[Verse 3]
Use just once and destroy
Invasion of our piracy
Afterbirth of a nation
Starve without your skeleton key

[Chorus]
What is wrong with me?
What is what I need?
What is what I need?
What do I think I think?
What is wrong with me?
What is what I need?
What is wrong with me?
What do I think I think?

So, so you think you can tell
Heaven from hell?
Blue skies from pain?
Can you tell a green field
From a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
Did they get you to trade
Your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
Did you exchange
A walk-on part in the war
For a leading role in a cage?
How I wish, how I wish you were here
We're just two lost souls
Swimming in a fish bowl
Year after year
Running over the same old ground
What have we found?
The same old fears
Wish you were here

If you had seen
You'd understand
If you had seen
You'd break like me
If you had seen
All the things that I've seen
You'd scream like I screamed
I know
If you had seen
You'd feel like I feel
Empty and broken
I know

Broken - Gary Numan
