Nice way to save money if you can afford the capital outlay. Though if you can afford the capital outlay, saving money isn't so important.

Umm, that's how people have the capital to outlay in the first place.. by not wasting money. So, yeah, saving money IS important to those who can afford to invest in something for a long term expected payoff.
