Is communism in the United States for the sole benefit of biological females? Communism is essentially the philosophy of centralisation of everything (economy plus the figurative social sphere) & the exercising of authority to achieve that end.

What I have seen over the past decade, in Autistic communities, is basically biological females, capitalising on the "everyone is equally worthless" concept, by choosing whichever victim they fancy, on a whim, to browbeat to their will. Politically, sexually or otherwise.

I really don't see any benefit for biological males with this philosophy at all.

Biological women who support communism often expect men to do all the heavy lifting in social areas or the economy, whilst belittling them at the same time and working towards destroying their egos.

Has anyone else experienced this?

That's an Authoritarian Regime. Communism is the democratization of everything.
The fact that Stalin and Mao led authoritarian regimes is what Lefties mean when they say "that wasn't real communism". it wasn't. The idea was Hijacked. In practice, the major Regimes which called themselves Communist were merely authoritarian.
But it makes zero sense to use the words interchangeably and will only produce confusion.

yeah. so. here's the confusion: even in the Authoritarian Regimes of Maoist China and Stalin's Russia and the GDR, women were part of the labour force, even physical labour as well as military. They had their own income at a time when in the "free world" women had to ask their husbands to open a bank account or get a desk job as a secretary or something. But to take a step back: China and Russia made this effort in an attempt to go from agrarian societies to indusyrialized societies, and it didn't work well until the Chinese figured out a way to drop any semblance of Communism and go for straight up Authoritarian capitalism. And they industrialized and urbanized at a pace unseen before.

I don't see how the economic structure of a society attracts the women you're talking about, neither in practice nor in theory.

Is it possible "communist" is a poor descriptor for the people you want to describe here?

I think the issue here is that all of the different theories of communism that might work, have never worked in the real world, to date. Anyone can speculate on outcomes that have never been realised.

Personally, I think that human nature and the competitive nature of human beings will prevent communism from ever being realised.

Communism is a political hypothesis that has never been proven, despite numerous attempts.

If clinical tests of penicillin had the same record, we would never have it as an antibiotic.

Communism, in practice, has had a very poor record of success for the "masses" (to say the least)

It might work as a utopian fantasy----but utopian fantasies shouldn't be employed when millions of lives are at stake.

Thomas More’s Utopia didn’t stack up very well either… it was a slave-owning state.

Communism, being based on the idea of total democratization of ownership, rulership, and the means of production, carries within itself the seed of its own destruction, which is Democracy.

Whether from within or without, Communism demonstrates its own inability to stand against Democracy by its inevitable dissolution and failure every time it is attempted.

fair enough. the problem is: now that we all believe communism is utopian, and we're all realists... what do we do about the growing wealth disparity and climate change?
realistically, we can't do anything.
so let's roll on our back and wait for climate wars to escalate and ultra-rich people owning everything.

or maybe look at ideas such as communism and wonder if a pinch of it would maybe do some good.... like, maybe utilities like energy, internet service, water, healthcare shouldn't be left to a mechanism that doesn't care about these things, and only provides them as necessary evil to produce profit.

I don't see anything wrong with incorporating some socialist elements into a generally capitalist/mercantilist fabric.

They do this successfully in the Scandinavian countries.

An American with decent health insurance seems somewhat better off than a Canadian, say, with their national health insurance. An American without health insurance, or with lousy health insurance, is basically screwed if he/she develops a chronic condition requiring medical intervention. There is no "safety net" for them. They can become bankrupt as a result of having to have surgery.

There are many Americans who are eligible for decent health insurance. Anybody 65 or older, or children of people with decent health insurance until age 25, or people whose income is below 133% of the Federal Poverty Line. And other groups of people within more "liberalized" states.

I believe the US should develop a plan which is an improvement over the national health schemes of European countries. We should, definitely, have unquestioned free medical care for a chronic condition where there is a risk of death within ten years unless intervention happens.

Socialism, as defined by "any of various economic and political theories advocating collective ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods" is not inherently evil, except in that it removes corporate ownership -- and concurrently, the ownership of the profits -- from the hands of wealthy oligarchs who could not care less about the people who work for them.

Now, when the government owns and administers the means of production and distribution of goods, that system becomes a dictatorial oligarchy, with the rulers at the top, and the citizen-slaves at the bottom.  This was the case with the U.S.S.R., and is currently the case in North Korea.

Sorry, of course, there are individuals who prefer a wealth divide, for whom a world in which democracy over the means of production isn't utopian even in theory.

While I am not a one-percenter, I did achieve my successes without any Nanny State providing food, clothing, shelter, and medical care for me (except when I served in the military, which is neither democratic nor capitalistic).  Capitalism works, Communism does not.  Unsuccessful people need handouts; successful people do not.

This is why I never see successful people with a love of communism or even socialism most of the time.

A desire for communism or socialism is just a desire for the material wealth of others. Why work for anything when you can just steal it?

Ironically the ones who are most keen on such policy are the ones most inept at implementing it. It's usually the unemployed, coffee shop workers, media folks and humanities. Pretty much the least talented people.

I have no desire for the "material wealth" of anybody. I never got handouts from a "nanny state." I've worked at clerical jobs all my life from high school.

I'm not exactly enamored of Communism or Socialism in its "purest" forms----but I'm not against some facets of socialism being implanted into a capitalistic framework. I feel like people who are temporarily down on their luck should be supported by the government who receives their tax money when they are not "down on their luck."
