I don't really know what I'm doing here I think I'm initially trying to figure our if I relate to autistic people because I'm unsure if I have it myself

Collecting information can be very helpful. If you are just starting on this path of inquiry you might consider a free pdf booklet, Aspergers - An Intentional Life. Also the Tony Attwood videos on Youtube can be informative.

Aspergers is now called part of the Autism Spectrum. I don't agree with that classification however one does not have to accept every piece of information that one is presented with. As you sift through the information keep an eye out for a nugget of two you can use.

You will find a number of people willing to share their experiences of their own path of discovery. Feel free to ask whatever questions you like.

Additional note: Being on the Autism Spectrum is not a requirement for being on the Wrong Planet. An interest in the topic would be appropriate, though. (You sound interested, to me.)
