I quit my job today.
No plans.
No desires.
No dreams.
I think I have enough savings to get me through to retierment age, but heck, I don't really care at the moment.

I did the same five years ago, just said enough. I had plans, desires, and dreams. Some realistic, some not. I've not regretted the decision to date and am happier as I'm now better at regulating my stress intake.

No.
And the old age pension system is being redone I believe, so I'm not really sure of when I'll be eligible for it.
But it's not important.
If push comes to shove, I could always rent out a room or two, or take a crap job, or take some uni courses.
I don't have high expences, so I don't need much of an income.

For a long time I have wanted to quit my "job" too. Lot attendant, big box store. Push shopping carts and load merchandise. Some customers drive like Grand Theft Auto. It is easy to get run over by a car. Litterboxes often out of order. Not enough litterboxes. When it's raining, sometimes, shoes wet 7am to 7pm. Sometimes back hurts from trying to lift too many heavy merchandise. Sometimes coworkers Curt when I ask them for loading assistance. Ghetto lil coworkers.

What was your job title?

What made you quit?

I'm a rigger, working with the wires, ropes, masts, sails, and spars of sailing ships and boats.
Also as a specialist in those matters, historically and practically.
I quit because of several reasons.
Some bullying, some disbelieving in my credentials. A bit of unsatisfaction with what I was expected to do. Mostly I was never accepted into the group, as one of them.
I've had many crappy jobs, but never before have I experienced noone asking me out for lunch, ever, in six years time.

Lucky bastard. Sorry for the hell your coworkers put you through, but I hope you're finding some peace.
