Like to think that Amelia Earhart is still alive and well somewhere . Even if she had to spend the rest of her existence on a tropical island somewhere. She is and will forever be one of my heroes .

Even if she had lived she couldnt still "be alive" (except maybe in heaven). It was 1937.
I like to think that she reincarnated as Taylor Swift.
Actually Lorrie Anderson, the avant garde artists/singer famous in the Eighties was featured on 60 Minutes, and they said she is working on a musical about Amelia Earhart.
