You're lucky you were able to mask and control your behaviours in front of police.
I've had meltdowns in front of police, because of trauma.
Either that or I freeze (shut down / flat affect), and they don't take me seriously.
When I'm in a stressful situation I can't self-regulate and I go mute, or roll up like a child.

You seem to be questioning your ASD status all the time.
Did you ever go for an assessment, and what did it say?

That is because I did self-therapy and studied psychology myself. Although, I do have IEP and IPP goals to learn social skills as well.

I've been in therapy since 1997 and more intensively since 2009.
I also do OT and Speech-Language therapy.

I hope you get an assessment so you will have all the answers you're looking for.

In other words, it's highly doubtful that you have Level 3 Autism.

Take Isabella's advice, and get assessed for autism.

It is an outdated diagnosis of PDD-NOS from DSM-4 I was diagnosed as a toddler in Israel. Nowadays they just put Autism in my IEP records.

Even more reason why you might consider being reassessed. ^

ASD level 3 is characterized by severe challenges in social communication as well as extremely inflexible behavior. Children with level 3 autism will be nonverbal or have the use of only a few words of intelligible speech. Initiation of social interaction is very limited, as well as response to others. An individual at this level may interact with others abnormally, and only to meet immediate needs.

Individuals with level 3 autism exhibit marked inflexibility of behavior, with extreme difficulty coping with changes to routine. At this level, restrictive or repetitive behaviors interfere with the individual’s ability to function. Changing focus from one activity to another may come at great difficulty and cause significant distress.
it's not as clear cut as that. There are variances which are not mentioned in this description.
