My opinions:

• The goal for Musk in controlling Twitter is to have less left-wing bias on Twitter.

• Bias is a tendency to prefer one person or thing to another, and to favor that person or thing.

• Left-wing people have political ideas that are based on Socialism.

• Socialism is a set of left-wing political principles whose general aim is to create a system in which everyone has an equal opportunity to benefit from a country's wealth.

• At this point, it should be obvious that the "stated aim" is really all about denying people their right to speak out against Capitalism and economic inequality, with the further implication that speaking out against racism, sexism, and other forms of social injustice will be actively curtailed.

^^ this.
Or as Jaron Lanier put it recently (paraphrased): the algorithms are geared towards outrageous tweets, not real issues, and therefore, we discuss the outrageous tweets, not reality.

musk turning twitter even more into 4chan won't exactly improve that

Musk tweeted that he's going to buy McDonald's next and fix all the ice cream machines.

Elon Musk Vows to Unban Trump From Twitter

Quote:
Elon Musk will remove the ban on former President Donald Trump if his bid to buy Twitter for $44 billion succeeds, the outspoken entrepreneur said Tuesday.

Speaking to a Financial Times conference, Musk said called Twitter's shutdown of Trump's Twitter account a "morally bad decision."

“I think perma-bans fundamentally undermine trust in Twitter as a town square where everyone can voice their opinion," Musk said via video chat, adding that temporary suspensions made sense. "If there are tweets that are wrong and bad, those should either be deleted or made invisible."

Musk's statement is the latest insight into how he might run the influential short-messaging service if he succeed in purchasing the company and taking it private. He has previously said he doesn't agree with how the service is run and that he doesn't have faith in its leaders to do their jobs correctly. Among his complaints, Musk, the world's richest person, has said he believes the company is overly aggressive policing its platform to remove hate speech and harassment.

I'm not sure about that, but I am sure he is anti-left-wing censorship that dominated twitter before he bought it.

The ice cream machines were never broken. People just abused the cheap soft-serve function to the point McDonalds said enough was enough.
Well, that is my theory. 8)
