I've seen men sitting on their own in a park not accompanied by any children. I was walking by a park once and a man came out, on his own. It looked like he had been on a stroll and had parked himself on a park bench to rest, then got on with his stroll. There were children playing in the park but nobody seemed freaked out or anything. It just looked like a normal, everyday thing. It's only weird if an adult skulks about near or in a park, looking interested in the children, like a predator looking for prey. Otherwise, childless adults are not forbidden from entering a park. Me and my boyfriend sat in a park last summer, and ate a sandwich and watched the children playing. Nobody cared.

There are a few parks near my home.  The nearest one . . . it is practically impossible to walk from one end to the other without someone asking for spare change.
