Naomi Judd dead after battle with mental illness

I fear what the cause of death will be revealed to be, as her battle with mental illness has been revealed.

Looked her up just now and found myself feeling surprised at her age being 76.

The way that is worded, one does wonder,

I remember the Judds from when I listed to country music around 1983-84.

Reading up on this some, I suspect she committed suicide.

I would say either suicide or some Alzheimer's sort of situation.

I dont expect a Brit to know country music. So you wouldnt know "the Judds" which was the duo of she and her daughter Wynona.

And I know that you're even less up on movies than I am, but you MUST know the actress Ashley Judd.

Well Naomi was the mother of Ashley Judd (sister of Wynona).

I've never heard of Ashely Judd either.

Alzheimer's or similar is what I thought they meant at first.

Around 83-85 I worked in a restaurant that played country music, so I remember the mother daughter duo Naomi and Wynonna Judd as "The Judds". I think Ashley is a younger daughter/sister who went solo. But I'm not familiar with her work.

This was probably The Judds biggest hit.

Ah actress rather than singer. I looked up all of Ashley Judd's movies on IMDB and none of them rang a bell except for Heat (1995) and A Time To Kill (1996).
