My interests tend to come and go in cycles, although I have grown out of many I had as a child.

Usually they involve collecting series of things or progressing up levels in things.

Currently I am into:
Education (changes in the school/university curriculum over the years and collecting series of textbooks old and current, mainly in Maths & Science)
Dancing - collecting dance syllabuses & DVD's and trying to learn them
Studying & taking exams (currently accountancy & marketing - nothing to do with my job!)
Unexplained/paranormal
Conspiracy theories
Cosmology
Shojo Manga
Collecting School Stories

I also go through phases of collecting CCG's and Dr Who books, but not right at the moment.

I just wish my interests weren't so ****ing expensive & didn't take up so much space!

As a child I was also into (starting from the youngest age:) Cats; Christmas Grottoes; Astronomy; Breeding chickens; Bus routes and collecting bus numbers; Collecting ABBA records including all the Swedish ones.

By the way, I am female, even though there are some "male" interests included in there as well.

(Looking back at my list, I think I am going to have to change my profile to "self-diagnosed" instead of "not sure if I have it or not", my interests just come across as so Aspie!! !!)

My main and only interests are playing video games, watching shows, movies, watching TV, surfing the internet, going to friends, go out once in a while and smoke pot.

Let's compare notes, after three years. Things have come full circle.

The 60s
The Kinks
Mods and Rockers
Routemasters (Wow! This seems like the old days, all over again!)
Carnaby Street
The other bands and performers of The British Invasion
WrongPlanet
Christmas

Now this is the fun CockneyRebel that everybody at WP remembers, including myself. I've been back for a little over a year, and it feels great! :D

I'll do my best to make this as decipherable as possible..

1. movies including the following genres-- Fantasy/Horror/Sci-Fi/Martial Arts/Comedy/Documentary/Musicals/Mystery & Suspense.
2.Books- Art,Horror,Fantasy/Philosophy,Sci-Fi,Collectibles,Comics,Religion,Computers,etc.

3.Music-World,Rock & Roll, Rythm & Blues,Jazz, Big Band,Classical,Western,Disco,etc.

4. Nature & Wildlife,Mythology and Folklore,Native American studies,Poetry,Surreal Art, Compuer Games

Basically, I'm not very good at pinpointing any specific area but, rather I'd say I'm interest in different things to one extent to another if this makes sense?

My most long-standing interests are science (astronomy and physics mainly), [edit: I forgot one...] Vincent Van Gogh [end edit] accents and a revolving door of comedy television shows (which I watch until memorized :-) )

My interests for now are:
Philosophy (Nietzsche being a favorite), the stock market, Jason Reitman movies ("thank you for smoking" is a must-see), break-dancing and yoga (complementary to break-dancing for increase in flexibility).
