I was emailing my cousin, she was comparing Aspergers with being gay, it not the same thing. I know she sees me as a person with no health conditions, being disabled, she think I’m like her, normal.

Asperger's is a neurodevelopmental disorder.

Being gay is a sexuality.

The two aren't comparable at all. Gay people (without any neurodevelopmental disorders) are still neurotypicals.

I said it’s not the same. She don’t care what I have.

A large portion (much greater than would be expected of neurotypicals) of people with ASD are gay, or other "non-standard" sexual orientations.

Source: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29159906/
Citing, "In the group with ASD, 69.7% of the sample reported being non-heterosexual."

There are countless other literature sources to back this up, but above I was just quoting the US NIH (National Institute of Health).
