Speculation.

Indeed, speculation.
Based on in/out balance and an assumption that CIA did know at least as much as I did at the time and likely a lot more.
And an assumption that WWIII is still not out of the question, so better have one frontline than two.

The same applies to Biden, imo.

Biden has several decades of political experience under his belt. I think that alone is a great qualification.

My understanding is, that Biden has decades of being a *mediocre* politician.
But he does mediocrity very well.

Not everyone can be a Lincoln or an FDR, and walk on water all the time.

Strange expectation that democrats are held to a higher standard than their republican counterparts.

So far, Boobart, Marjorie Traitor Greene, and others get little blow back from their fellow conservatives for spouting insane, lunatic hate.

All politicians are self-serving. Like lawyers. But some bring more benefit to a wider spectrum of the population than others. Trump and his cronies/followers only serve a small sliver of society who are the richest 5-10%. At the same time they alienate large sections of society.

So to keep pointing fingers at Biden when there mad raving nutjobs on the verge of running America (again) in 2024 seems strange to me.
