Nice to "meet" others like me.

Yes, Sweden is the nearest neighboring country. Which country do you live in?

I live in Florida. USA. I enjoyed visiting Sweden very much.

Don't worry, Norway83. It's not that she doesn't want to answer. It's that she has a job where she can't always be on this Site.

Understood that. Pressed a button I did not know what was for, then the post came up again. :)

Hi Norway, I've also been diagnosed in adulthood. Just this year. And new to this forum as well.

I've not met any other girls who officially have it, but I've met a few that I suspect have it. It's very expensive to get a diagnosis here as an adult and it's harder for girls. Although I'm glad I did get an answer.

There's probably more of us than we realise.

Hi Sigi.

Yes, it is more difficult for girls, and there are probably many more than we think.

Is not the autism itself that is my problem, but the comorbid things.

How old are you?

Hi autisticelders.

Thanks so much for the reply. Good to know.

I was also diagnosed in adulthood, but there is always an uncertainty, wish there were some biological markers that could say it for sure. Do you ever doubt your diagnosis?

There is a subforum dedicated to co-morbidities, and for non-autistic conditions.

I hope, some day, to see icebergs in fjords.

I hope you start to explore all the other subforums soon.

You could start a thread, or you could put your input into another thread.

I love nature too. When I went to Sweden, I went canoeing there. It was gorgeous. I imagine Norway has some beautiful places to see as well. If you care to, where do you go in Norway to experience nature?

Sounds great. :)

Yes Norway has many nice places, both the fjords in Western Norway and the landscape in the north (is a long country).

Many takes "Hurtigruta" (as it is called in Norwegian), a ship that goes along the coast. Then you get to see a lot. You can google "Hurtigruten" if you want.

And sorry about my English, not my strongest field. :)
