People have tried to play Duck Hunt for NES on flat screen TVs and they found out that they couldn't play it.

When the NES was made, TVs were a lot different. Some of them didn't even have remotes.

Yep.

Different technology.

I think someone made a Zapper/adapter that works with LCDs, but another solution is to emulate the game on a Wii or WiiU (though it's not quite the same).

I have a small TV set from the 90's and that is the only way to play Duck Hunt. You would have to buy it on the WiiU eshop by march 2023 before it closes.

I vaguely remember playing that game at my neighbor's house when I was little. It was fun when I'd start a game but I got frustrated fast. I played a flash version of that game on my computer where I used my mouse to click on the ducks. It would not surprise me if someone made that game for mobile devices & you'd tap your finger on the ducks.

Vs. Duck Hunt is the best version of the game, BTW B)
It alternates between ducks and clay pigeons, and has a fun bonus round (where you can shoot the dog, if you're into that sort of thing).

There's a Duck Hunt app for Android.

I'll have to check it out for my tablet if it's free & doesn't have a lot of ads.

I know there's at least two people who would really like that besides me

Duck Hunt was one of the first games for the NES that my brother and I got. Most people hate the dog for laughing at you when you let the ducks escape, but I thought it was funny. I thought the graphics and animation in the game were amazing back then, I had been so used to the graphics in the Atari 2600 games. Thinks like hearing the dog barking and the way the duck's eye's bugged out when you shot them were really novel. I'm so old...
