Did I miss them stopping counting votes at 3am and the subsequent sudden jump in votes for one side?
</sarcasm>

It's amazing how much quicker, easier, and less controversial voting (and the counting of votes) is with a combination of mandatory voting, voter ID being required, and paper ballots, isn't it.

I didn't need ID to vote. Mind you I voted early, so perhaps it was different on Saturday?

I didn't need voter ID when I "voted" today.
I didn't vote, btw and have no intention to do so ever again.

Well, I did vote early, so it may have been connected to that - Considering the length of the queue, I'm glad I did so, too, as the line would almost certainly have been longer yesterday (and parking harder).

It could also have simply been connected with the person behind the table wanting to make sure they marked off the correct person, I guess.

Voted early but didn't matter since I live in a blue ribbon liberal seat

I saw a photo of a guy at the polls wearing nothing but a Speedo.

I would too if:

a) Our elections weren't held in October and November, where it can be chilly in the morning.

b) I wasn't extremely overweight.
