I feel like people MUST be better at RESPECTING people who have views different from one's own.

There seems to be a culture of "diss" these days.

For all of human history most people have been stupid. All that's changed is that people have more access to misinformation.

The stupid people are surviving longer thanks to all of the silly and stupid safety warnings plastered all over everything these days. Its not helping the gene pool any, that's for sure.

The audio sucks, even at the original website.  Other videos sound okay, though.

They have to do that now because lawyers. In the US especially where people will sue for things like putting their pet in a microwave oven to dry out their fur because there wasn't a warning telling them that is an incredibly bad idea and they should never put live animals in a microwave.

How stupid did just ONE person have to be to require these warning labels?

Now this one's my favourite.

I feel the same way. There are many times that I've taken breaks from various website communities because people can't seem to disagree in a civil way.

I'm pretty sure the conclusion will vary with what reference sources are used.

For instance:

Answering that question solely by referencing TikTok challenge videos will give a different conclusion than will be drawn from solely referencing model railroading and model rocketry magazines and websites where people are drafting blueprints for scratchbuilds, and programming Arduino boards, and using CAD programs and 3D printers, and ... and ...

None of the above.

It is a combination of shorter attention spans and warped priorities enhanced by social media.

The REAL question is are people good, bad, or just plain crazy?
