China enters Taiwan’s air defence zone

China’s air force has entered Taiwan’s air defence zone – involving 22 fighter jets and early warning and anti-submarine aircraft.

Taiwan deployed combat aircraft to warn away Chinese jets – also using missile system to monitor their movements.

Officials have labelled the military activities “grey zone” warfare – claiming the repeated incursions are designed to test the islands responses.
