So many good things have happened lately:
1. I convinced my son to try a donut with chocolate glaze
2. That went well, so he was willing to try a new beverage.
3. We had a nice conversation about Aristotle and the concept of moderation (in which he actually responded to questions with real answers).
4. He has been basically honoring--with occasional reminders--his written agreement to follow the rules about angry noises and gestures.
5. He calmed down this morning and let me help him fix a torn piece of paper, accepting tape as a solution.

What triumphs have you had lately?

My mother, about 2 weeks after fracturing her hip, was able to stand on her own, holding a walker, and take a few sideward steps.

My ASD son is doing well in his first real career job. He's really talented, but playing the resume and interview game is just not something that suits him. He never really had to before; people just wanted him based on qualifications. But the first real career job was tough to get.

That's awesome and really inspiring for the rest of us parents, DW.
