Why do they refer to restrooms that both men and women can use unisex restrooms? Doesn't "uni-" mean "one"?

Imagine Uni as being short for universal.

And what is the point of labelled a single occupancy Litterbox "unisex" or "gender neutral bathroom" if only one person could fit inside (depending on how large the person is)?

It's like the company is trying to be politically correct by not putting "men" and "women", but only one person could fit inside the Litterbox at a time

Because calling it a Pansexual Bathroom brought the wrong connotations.

People worried they would turn into Peter Pan.

I once went into a unisex toilet and saw a woman sitting on the toilet seat with her pants down. And she farted right when I opened the door. Why didn't she lock the toilet? I get a feeling she did it on purpose. I was disgusted.
