Meh, this is just a stab in the dakr, but I'm guessing there might be a FEW people who like Monty Python on here. What's your favorite movie, and what are your favorite quotes?

My favorite movie: Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

My favorite quotes:

((From "How to annoy people," in which a pilot is on the intercom)): "Attention please. The wings are not on fire."

((From "The Holy grail," in which people are discussing what will float on water)): "Small rocks?"

Almost forgot the keystone quote from The Holy Grail! "But where did you get the coconuts?"

I like the socialist peasants...

Talking about Monty Python on the Internet means you have Asperger's...

In every Monty Python movie they have an ugly woman played by one of the men...

Hahahahahahahahaha!! !!

Nah, it can simply mean that you're a really, really cool geek.

Although, of course, the love of the cool geekiness of Monty Python is very frequently comorbid with AS. ;)

Always look on the bright side of life
doot doo doo, doo doo, doo doo, doo doo

if you hadn't nailed it to the perch it would be pushing up the daisies...It's rung down the curtain and joined the choir invisible!!...THIS IS AN EX PARROT!! !

Now, it's quite simple to defend yourself against a man armed with a banana. First of all you force him to drop the banana. Then, second, you eat the banana, thus disarming him. You have now rendered him helpless

What was the quote they all said in unison? "We are all individuals!"

oh, the killer rabbit is insane!

Almost any part of the movie (holy grail) is worthy of praise, in my opinion

Tim the sorcerer (mr. napalm)
run away run away
the cowardly knight (with the chicken on his shield)
the gorge of eternal peril!
the socialists
the french castle and frenchmen
the 'giant wooden badger' idea :)

edit: spelling

I liked the bit in the 'Life of Brian' where they stoned the priest who used the lord's name in vain, as well as the bit in the dungeon where the torturer was talking to Brian about torture and execution. I also liked the bit in 'Holy Grail' where the guardian of the bridge fell into the chasm ('What is the Average Speed Velocity of an African Swallow' 'Would that be an African or European swallow?' 'I don't know that!'). I guess my choices for favourites are rather cruel and morbid, but all my other favourite bits had already been mentioned by other people. btw, I haven't seen 'How to Irritate People' in ages. I'd like to see it again though.

I love Life of Brian and Holy Grail.

My new Broadway musical obsession is Monty Python's Spamalot. If you're a Monty Python fan I highly recommend that you buy the CD.

http://www.montypythonsspamalot.com/

We're knights of the round table
We dance whenever we're able
We do routines and chorus scenes
With footwork impecc-able
We dine well here in Camelot
We eat ham and jam and spam a lot!

'Always Look on the Bright Side of Life' is also in the musical.
