i had to phone in sick today...(after having a meltdown because i wanted to go to work) because i woke up feeling cold and was sick in the toilet

i done 2 covid tests but both negative and my husband and son are both negative too

yesterday i stayed indoors most the day and drank lots of water all day so i wasnt out in the sun at all apart from the early morning

i still feel unwell and cold and my husband says i will have to stay off work again tomorrow but now iv accepted it so no more meltdown

actually i feel too ill for meltdown im so cold and shaky

is this flu?can you get flu in hot weather?m

You can actually drink too much water… then your body runs short of essential salts.

If this lasts more than a few days, definitely see the doctor.

You can get the stomach flu and other viruses in any kind of weather or temperature. In the past I've sometimes had summer colds, usually when I was on a trip or a vacation somewhere, and they always seem worse than they normally are in the winter.

Or it could have been from something you ate. Bacteria loves to breed in heat and humidity.
