Is getting abs or a six pack as simple as getting down to 10 percent body fat or do you have to do specific stomach exercises to develop them?

One probably would have to do stomach exercises to get a six-pack.

This is not necessarily true.

There are compound exercises that works muscles in the body (i.e. pullups, farmer walks, deadlifts, etc). Doing these regularly, with proper form and progressive overload can build your abs without needing to targeted ab exercises.

Yes. Getting abs is mostly about cutting calories. Your diet matters far more than what exercises you do.

No, absolutely not. Spot-reducing fat with targeted exercises is a myth. How your body distributes and loses fat is predetermined. The body loses fat via an energy deficit, regardless of whether that deficit is achieved through calories or whichever exercises.
