Somewhere, someone might be giving birth to none other than George Jetson today!

”Here's how the math works: The show first aired in 1962, but was set 100 years in the future. That would be 2062.

During the first season of the show, George reveals that he's 40 years old. So 2062 minus 40, and there you go.

The fact-checking website Snopes looked into the claim and concluded it is, in fact, a reasonable estimation of his birth year."

So I’ll probably be around to experience the flying cars. That’s nice.

I doubt I will be around in 40 years, as I'm 63. I really enjoyed the Jetson when I was a child. Flying cars seemed like such a cool thing, but today I think flying cars would just be another way of diminishing the population, except for the people that could not afford flying cars. I think the tube system on Futurama might be safer.

It is weird to combine past sci-fi with reality. The act is not weird, but the emotion of imagining it is weird and fun.

Welcome to the world George Jetson, where ever you are.

Well...weve lost a queen, but weve gained ...George Jetson!

So life carries on.

But which company should I buy stock in?

Cogswell Cogs?

Or Spacely Sprockets?
